Press Release

Walnut Creek, California - January 27, 2026

Hyperport announced the release of Hyperport v3.3 and introduced Autonomous Secure Access (ASA), a new approach to intelligent access governance for critical infrastructure.

ASA moves beyond static permissions and reactive investigations by continuously evaluating user and session risk in real time, then enforcing policy actions automatically when conditions change.

Why autonomous secure access

Traditional secure remote access models grant trust once and depend on humans to detect problems later. That gap between emerging risk and manual response leaves critical operations exposed.

Hyperport v3.3 closes this gap with an AI-powered Trust Engine that evaluates risk at login, application launch, and throughout active sessions. The policy engine can step up authentication, restrict access, or terminate sessions automatically when trust declines.

"Trust should never be assumed. It should be validated continuously, and when trust erodes, response should be immediate."
Randy Cheek, CEO and Founder, Hyperport

What is autonomous secure access

Autonomous Secure Access shifts access governance from reactive to proactive. Instead of relying on point-in-time authentication and human monitoring, it continuously scores trust and enforces policy at machine speed.

The approach is built on three principles:

  • Continuous evaluation: Adaptive Trust Scores update throughout the full session lifecycle using behavioral, contextual, and environmental signals.
  • Autonomous response: Policy actions are triggered automatically as risk changes, including MFA step-up, application restrictions, and session termination.
  • Human on the loop: Security teams define policy and retain oversight while the system executes controls continuously.
"Autonomous means human-defined policy executes when it matters most, without waiting on manual intervention."
Adrian Withy, CTO, Hyperport

Hyperport v3.3 key capabilities

  • AI-powered Trust Engine: Real-time trust scoring based on multi-signal session telemetry.
  • Expanded policy-based access control: Login, app connection, user monitoring, and app monitoring policies across the full session lifecycle.
  • Application security levels: L1-L5 criticality controls to align access assurance to application sensitivity.
  • Trusted endpoints with EDR integration: Device identity and endpoint health integrated into trust and policy outcomes.
  • On-premises Trust Engine: Supports high-security and air-gapped deployments without external data dependencies.

Designed for critical infrastructure

Hyperport is purpose-built for utilities, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and other regulated sectors where uptime and compliance are mandatory. The platform secures IT and OT access without requiring agents, architecture changes, or cloud dependency.

It supports regulatory programs including NERC-CIP, CMMC, TSA SD02C, ISA/IEC-62443, NIST, and related frameworks.

"Organizations need real-time risk control and audit-ready evidence at the same time. Autonomous Secure Access delivers both."
Steve Rutherford, VP of Sales, Hyperport

Availability

Hyperport v3.3 is available now. Existing customers can access upgrades through the Hyperport Customer Success Portal. New organizations can contact Hyperport for a demonstration and proof-of-value planning.

About Hyperport

Hyperport delivers autonomous secure access for critical infrastructure by unifying zero trust, secure remote access, and privileged access with AI-driven trust and policy enforcement across IT, OT, and hybrid environments.
